Dr. Veronica Manole (principal investigator)
Veronica Manole is a lecturer at the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, Faculty of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University. She teaches Portuguese language and culture, Discourse Analysis, and Research Methodology. She has a PhD in Portuguese, Brazilian, and Lusophone Africa Studies from Paris 8 University. Her research interests focus on political discourse analysis, pragmatics, discourse markers in Romanian and Portuguese. She is the head of the Portuguese Language Centre of the Camões Institute in Cluj-Napoca.

Dr. Adrian Chircu (mentor)
Adrian Chircu is an associate professor at the Department of Romanian Language and General Linguistics, Faculty of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University. Between 2000 and 2004, he was a lecturer or Romanian language at the University of Provence, Aix-Marseille I (France) that integrated the Aix-Marseille University in 2012. His research interests focus on comparative, synchronic, and diachronic analysis of Romance languages.
